Media Photography Video Policy

Details:

The University reserves the right to release basic information on students for news releases including names and images for photograph(s), videotape(s), social media, and soundbite(s) taken by or obtained from people/students on campus and/or at University-sponsored events for the purpose of promoting, publicizing, recruiting, or public relations involving Saint Francis. Forms of media include print or electronic, including (but not limited to) the University website, University publications (printed admissions pieces, brochures, magazines, catalogs, video, television/radio broadcasts, newspapers, newsletters, social media, etc.), and/or fundraising publications for the University.

Upon arrival on campus, there is implied consent to the University to use these materials for any lawful purpose as detailed above. Photograph(s) and video footage may be obtained from both informal and formal settings. All negatives, positives, prints, and raw footage are the property of Saint Francis University. If anyone wishes to withdraw consent to the University for photography or videography usage, he or she may contact the Marketing and Communications Office (marketing@francis.edu).
