Details: Registration is held for current students at an announced date preceding the end of each semester. Incoming first year students are registered during the summer months immediately preceding the opening of the semester. Incoming traditional freshman, transfer, or international undergraduate or graduate students must be deposited and registered for classes by the start of the semester. If an incoming traditional freshman, transfer, or international undergraduate or graduate student has not been registered by the first day of classes but requests to begin the semester with SFU, the student's admissions counselor can submit an appeal on the student's behalf. The appeal will be reviewed by the Enrollment Review Committee and a decision for late admittance will be made on a case-by-case basis, focused on ensuring student success and class availability. Any student granted late admittance will be registered for the class. Students have complied with registration requirements when they have their schedule of studies approved by their advisor, when they have registered for their courses, and when they have completed arrangements for the payment of their semester accounts. Students must register for a Saint Francis University course before or during the semester in which the course is taken. Students seeking to register during or after the start of a semester must follow the schedule change policy. No student is considered enrolled in a class until the student's name appears on the official class list.
