Top five parking violations and explanations

TOP 5 VIOLATIONS

1. Parking on mall: This is for handicap and visitors to the chapel only
2. Parking in Yellow or Orange lot: This is only for upperclassmen who have earned a reserved spot. These areas are reserved 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 
3. Parking in a faculty or staff lot: Pay attention to signs, some lots are reserved 24/7, while others permit parking between 5PM and 5AM. None of the faculty/staff lots permit parking 5AM- 5PM during the weekdays.
4. Drop off loading zone: You are limited to 15 minutes, you MUST call 472-3360 for permission, if you are not in a spot labeled as a loading/unloading
5. The rear section of the Lower Stokes Lot. As a general rule parking in this lot overnight is prohibited. We will permit certain groups from time to time but we make it clear who has permission and who does not. Do not assume just because you see other cars there you are permitted to park there.
