Applicants who have not completed four years of high school must submit a High School Equivalent Diploma (GED) issued by their state department of education. Candidates for admission must submit an official transcript indicating the successful completion of at least 16 academic units of work (grades 9-12) earned at a secondary school approved by state and regional accrediting agencies. The 16 units are to be distributed as indicated below: Non-Science Majors
Science/Allied Health Majors (Biology, Exercise Physiology, Medical Technology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Sciences, Public Health, Occupational Therapy and Podiatric Science majors)
(Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics Majors)
*Physical Therapy applicants must have four units of math, four units of science and two units of academic electives. *Nursing applicants must have algebra, chemistry, biology, and three units of social studies. Individuals seeking admission must complete all required elements of the application portfolio for their respective intended major by the required deadline.
