In complaints involving discrimination, sexual misconduct, or other sensitive issues, the Associate Dean of Students or the Director of Residence Life will serve as the hearing officer. In the event a hearing officer is unable to serve, the Associate Dean of Students (or designee) will solicit a replacement from the group from which the representative came. Decisions made, and sanctions imposed, by a Hearing Officer will be final and implemented pending the normal review process. At the discretion of the Associate Dean of Students (or designee), implementation of sanctions may be stayed pending review. |
