Joint Appointments

Joint appointments are individually negotiated between the Chief Academic Officer, the dean(s), and the department(s) concerned.

Initial Appointments

All appointments to the faculty will be made according to the procedure specified in the University Bylaws. Appointment to the faculty must be made by the President. All terms and conditions of faculty appointments, including the applicability of prior teaching experience toward tenure and future promotions, shall be in writing.
